About Us

We are two mums with five kids between us. We have been friends for twenty years. Lill is a dietitian with over ten years of experience. Emma is a scientist but is also a mother of Harriet who was diagnosed with severe allergies (nut, eggs and soy) and intolerances from seven months of age. As Emma was still breastfeeding both Emma and Harriet had to go on a strict Elimination Diet as well as avoid those foods Harriet was allergic to. Shopping was a nightmare and it took several hours for shopping trips. This led Emma to ask the question "Surely there must be an easier way?" and so arose the idea for AllergEase.
